While some of Express’ trousers have been super long lately, their petite jumpsuits are shorter in length and can work nicely without sky high heels. I’m 5 ft. tall and this jumpsuit has a 27″ petite inseam that can be worn with a comfortably low 2″ heel (regular length has a 30″ inseam).
It has a side zipper entry, but the material is stretchy enough that I can pull it up and down quickly without having to do the zipper at all. The draped one shoulder style is flattering and elegant, and this also comes in a deep jewel-toned green which would be so festive for holiday parties. I did not see xxs petite available in this, but an xs petite fits me well (I’m currently around 32-25-33).

This red dress would be striking for holiday card photos, as well as Christmas / NYE parties and for Lunar New Year as a “lucky red” piece. It’s made of their signature “body contour” fabric, which is a closely knit material with a smooth finish and gentle shaping power. This dress is also bump friendly, and doesn’t seem like the length would ride up much shorter with a baby belly. Thanks to the flared skirt silhouette, this also isn’t too snug around the abdomen area like some knit dresses are on me. For an equally chic but slightly more understated look, this dress also comes in black!

Hi Annie, I would suggest a neutral colored wrap to bring for more formal holiday events to wear over sleeveless pieces and dresses!

LOVE the black velvet! I’ve been thinking about black velvet for the holidays but haven’t committed…and the belt is so chic! Love it with the long trench! Trying to find some winter friendly pointed toe black shoes that have a small heel – maybe a block heel – but are comfy enough to wear running errands. And that go with everything…..haha does such a thing exist??? lol. Looking great as usual, thanks so much!
